Pokémon Gen 2: Timeless

Gold, Silver and Crystal with the cartridge clock handed over to the player. Nothing is gated behind sleeping on it any more: set the day or the hour from the Pokégear and the daily and weekly events happen now. It also keeps the clock from corrupting your save, which on RTC-less hardware it otherwise can.
